Stations of the Cross

Stations of the Cross will be prayed in the Church every Friday during Lent at 7:00 PM.

The Stations of the Cross grew out of the ancient tradition of making a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Pilgrims walked the same road that Jesus walked during His Passion, meditated on His suffering, prayed, and kissed the holy ground.

When this travel was not possible due to violence, distance, or other factors, the tradition developed into a practice that can be done anywhere in the world, at any time. We pray the stations of the Cross to "walk" the path with Christ, especially during this season of Lent.
