About the Saint Monica Prolife Team!

Our team is a passionate group of individuals who have many years of experience in the Prolife ministry!

We meet once a month on Wednesday Evenings. We usually meet in the Adoration Chapel around 6:30 and offer prayer for all Prolife intentions and for our Team Meetings and Projects. We then move to the Community Building for a meeting from 7:00-8:00. 
While we realize that Prolife does include everyone, including the handicapped, the poor, the homeless, and the elderly- the focus of our ministry is on the issue of abortion. Abortion takes the lives of approximately 800,000 babies each year in the United States and 42 million worldwide. 

Abortion is an intrinsic evil, meaning that it is never permitted or morally justified, regardless of individual circumstances or intentions. Because of this, we are actively, prayerfully, and passionately involved in:

• Helping to end abortion.
• Helping mothers and fathers in unplanned or crisis pregnancy.
• Helping mothers and fathers that need help caring for their child(ren).
• Supporting local Crisis Pregnancy Centers both monetarily and with physical items.
• Helping women who have had an abortion seek healing and repentance.
• Working with the next generation to promote the preciousness of life beginning at conception.
