I just wanted to give a huge shout out and THANK YOU to all the people who participated in making this first annual St. Monica Feast Day Parish Picnic happen! We had a massive number of people who both helped plan the picnic and showed up in full force on the day to help with running tables and clean up! A special should out to Shannon Scholes, Bridget Hahn, Raeanne Leach, Amber Parker, Beth Curkovic, Anne Gibbs, Anne & Matthew Fackler, John Miller, Anne Cooper, Betty Laudenslager, The Knights of Columbus, the Parish Staff, the Parish Council, the Hackett Catholic Prep Students, St. Monica Catholic School Parents, and SO MANY MORE for all the hard work they did to make this happen! Of course, another huge should out to our Clergy for helping make this idea for a Picnic a reality! This picnic truly was a love letter to this wonderful parish that we are all a part of- and the turnout was everything that we could have hoped for! The final count was just under 450 people who attended the picnic! I am at a loss for words and am truly touched that so many people enjoyed themselves, and we hope that it met every one of your expectations! We are already talking about next year's picnic, and we hope to make some improvements (including additional lines for food!) God and Our Lady truly blessed us with gorgeous weather, and a fantastic day for all involved!
