Dedicated musicians and vocalists lead the assembly in song during the celebration of Holy Mass. Participants have a strong commitment to this ministry and faithful attendance. Prior music experience is helpful but not required.

Adult Choir

Any adults or High-School aged students interested in praising God through song are welcome to join (no experience needed!) The choir provides music of the 11 AM Mass every Sunday, September through Corpus Christi, as well as the Midnight Mass on Christmas, and the Easter Vigil.
Rehearsals will be held on Wednesday evenings, 7-8:30 PM, in the Music Room at the back of the Church. Rehearsals have begun- but anyone is welcome to join at ANYTIME! Just come to the church on Wednesdays at 7!

Children's Choir

Any children interested in singing for Mass are welcome to join Mrs. Scoles! Drop-In Childrens Choir will be the third Sunday of the month at the 9:30am Mass, beginning October 15th. Children should arrive at 9am to warm-up and learn the music for the day. All school age children are welcome and encouraged to join. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Mrs. Scoles at the Church Office, 269-345-4389 x244.

Cantors

Cantors assist the people gathered to sing their praise of God together in one musical voice. They lead and encourage the assembly in their singing, and often sing the verses of the responsorial psalm and other musical parts of the liturgy. Cantors are needed year round!

Cantors receive training and mentoring before they sing at liturgy, and can schedule rehearsals with the Music Director.

- Cantors are scheduled according to their availability.
- Cantors are required to be parishioners of Saint Monica, and in good Catholic standing.
