Sunday Breakfast to Benefit the St. Monica Pro-Life Team

Your St. Monica Knights of Columbus Council 12998 wishes to apologize for having to cancel the May 7 Sunday Breakfast to benefit the St. Monica Pro-Life Team. We cannot apologize enough to all those who had planned to attend. Please join us for our NEXT BREAKFAST (we promise!) on SUN, JULY 9, in the Community Bldg, after the 8 & 9:30 AM Masses, when the net proceeds will go to support Caring Network, a Catholic Charities Diocese of Kalamazoo (CCDOK) program. Caring Network serves hundreds of pregnant and parenting teens and women and their families each year. All its services are FREE. It works with families to reduce infant mortality risk factors, ensure healthy pregnancies, encourage healthy child development, and build strong parenting skills. Its goal is to help women choose life for their baby, deliver a healthy baby, and assist parents in providing for both themselves and their child.

We will also collect donations for Caring Network on July 9: Items needed are diapers, infant clothing, sleepers, socks, blankets, shoes, cleaning supplies, feminine hygiene items, new pacifiers and baby bottles, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, soap and lotion, towewls and washcloths, etc.
 
If you cannot make it to this July 9 Breakfast, but you would like to donate to this cause, you can mail a monetary donation to Ed Robinson, 7362 Marfield Street, Portage, Mi 49024 (check payable to St. Monica K of C Council 12998 with "Caring Network" on the memo line). Thank you!
