  At Damascus, our mission is to awaken, empower, and equip a generation to live the adventure of the Catholic faith through world-class programs and an environment of encounter.
  
  Sending your child to camp is a big decision. We are here to help answer any questions or concerns. Our trained staff is committed to the safety and faith development of your child. We want to partner with you in providing the same degree of care that you show at home in their time away.

- A Message from Deacon Lucas:
  
  "Catholic Youth Summer Camp is a high adventure Catholic summer camp to awaken faith in middle and high school students.
  There were five St. Monica middle school students who went this summer. These students and their parents highly recommend it (and all the students are returning next summer).
  The camp opens for general registration on November 1 and will likely sell out quickly (probably even that day).
  However, parishes have the opportunity to reserve spots before general registration opens.
  We plan to send a high school group the week of June 16-June 21, 2024 and a middle school group the week of July 28-August 2, 2024.

- Sacramental Life
  A week of camp will energize your faith and lead you to a deep and personal encounter with Jesus. Each day includes Mass and Prayer Lab, a time for learning how to pray with Scripture, while the week offers opportunities for Reconciliation and Eucharistic Adoration.
- High Adventure Activities
  Land, air, and water- we take high adventure seriously! From high ropes courses to paintball, ziplines to the blob, challenge yourself with activities that get you out of your comfort zone and into adventure.
- Community
  Make new friends or deepen relationships with friends who will support you at camp & beyond! Every camper has a missionary-led group of 8 other boys or girls that forms their unit for the week, from lodging and activities to prayer and discussion time. Groups are assigned based first on requests, and following that we make every effort to group campers by age, parish, hometown, or other commonalities.
- An Environment of Encounter
  Each night leads into programming that keeps you on your toes and ready to take another step in your relationship with God. Hilarious skits and dance parties set the stage for an invitation to a deeper life of prayer and openness to God. Teachings exploring key themes of the faith each year, including the Paschal Mystery, the Eucharist, Our Blessed Mother and the Holy Spirit.
