Fr. McNally was born and raised here in Kalamazoo! The older son of Patrick and Kristine McNally, Fr. McNally grew up in Kalamazoo and attended St. Monica School before going through Hackett. He also attended the Kalamazoo Area Math and Science Center. He was a long time Saint Monica Altar server, Lector, and Extraordinary Minister
After high school, he earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, and graduated from the Pontifical North American College in Rome with a Masters in Divinity.
Fr. Mcnally was ordained on Saturday, June 29, 2013 and just celebrated his 10th anniversary of Priesthood! He spent 8 years in school chaplancy, and is excited to be back home!
Father McNally is a self identified "huge math nerd, movie buff, avid reader, and recovering Notre Dame fan". He says he'll eat anything except mushrooms, is a cat person, and enjoys card/ board games! He and his family also have traveled to all 50 states in the US!
